Here it comes.....that time of the year. A decision has to be made. What should I give up for Lent? Of course Lent starts tomorrow.

As we approached 2020 a lot of people think of resolutions. Some people want to get healthier. Other's want a healthier bank account. They resolve to get out of debt. Some people want to give up alcohol.

Halloween is right around the corner and you know what that means: the holidays are right behind it, coming in hot and laden with anxiety. Now is the time for some "pre-holiday decompression" which is really just a fancy way of saying "relax, eat all of the leftover Halloween candy you can get your hands on, and drink a lot of wine."

So I am so excited about this year's Amarillo Wine Down & Dessert Wars. I mean what is better than trying all sorts of wines and desserts?

Well in answer to that question....yes. You can and probably are eating chocolate wrong.

How did I not know this!?

We just got through another weekend. The new week is fresh and new. Maybe we went out with friends.

We all love to sleep. That is really my most favorite time of the day. It also can be hard to get to sleep. You look at the clock constantly.

Do you ever find yourself wanting a snack when you are having a glass of wine or even a beer?

We spend a lot of time working. Most of us 40 hours a week at least. In a years time that is over 2,000 hours. No wonder we are a society that is just tired!
