It's the holiday season and that means it's time to hit the road.

In a bizarre turn of events yesterday morning, the Ambassador Hotel in Borger off of 3rd and Florida experienced a rather unconventional guest, a semi-truck.

Talk to almost everyone who lives and works in Amarillo and they will tell you of a close-call story while driving around town.

It's probably not where you expect it to be.

It seems that Amarillo is seeing more and more wrecks and fatalities on our roads.  Last night a major wreck happened at the corner of Amarillo Blvd and Pierce.  A semi truck crashed into the McDonald's.

I usually don't go off on rants but today is my day to do so.  When did people forget how to drive?  Did they even know how to drive in the first place.  Over the weekend I have been in nearly 3 wrecks.  You might say well Lori, maybe it is you.  I can assure you it isn't.
