A Sunday Morning Routine With My Blue Russian Cat, Diva Starr

I've talked about my precious little Pekingese MeMe a lot, but I thought I would share my normal Sunday morning routine with my Cat, Diva.

Luckily I was able to sleep in this past Sunday, so I rolled out of bed and left Meme all covered up in the blankets and headed into the kitchen to make my morning coffee. Then fired up the laptop and began catching up on some of my work I didn't get finished during the week.

Usually after hearing me rummaging around for about ten minutes, to clear the cobwebs out of my head, my Blue Russian cat, Diva will head out of her room and sit by my chair as I start working at the table.

She'll end up just sitting and staring at me, then I'll look down and she'll give me a 'meow' or two good morning. I'll scratch her head and go back to my work and then, she hops in the chair to my left and proceeds to walk over my right wrist and she's down for the count.

It's actually quite comforting, since she will begin purring and I had feel the 'rumble' on my arm. But, she has always been skittish so when I move to pour some more coffee or need my right arm she let's me know she is none too happy with this interruption and will usually hop down and head to the living room.
