Amarillo Habitat for Humanity Can Help Make Your Dream of Owning a Home a Reality

Have you always dreamed of owning a home?  If you have that dream but don't think you can afford it, you might just have a chance at being a homeowner with Amarillo Habitat for Humanity.

Amarillo Habitat for Humanity has a Homeowner Program and each year in the fall the program is open.  Only a limited number of families are chosen for this program and there is an application process.  However in order to obtain an application you must attend one of the meetings on how Amarillo Habitat for Humanity can help you become a homeowner.

The meetings times are as follows.

Monday, October 17th, 10am & 6pm - Habitat Office 2700 S Wilson.

Tuesday, October 18th, 10am & 6pm - Habitat Office 2700 S Wilson

Friday, October 21st, 9:30am & 6pm - Hillside Christian Church Grand Street 3508 NE 24th

Each adult in the family must attend one of these meetings.  These meetings are informal but will go over the application process and the qualifications families must meet.

Amarillo Habitat for Humanity has a Family Selection Committee who will chose up to four families to help this year.

HUD Median Family Income

Employment history

Credit references

If approved Habitat for Humanity will provide a interest-free mortgage loan.
