If you are from the Amarillo area you have probably heard the name Stanley Marsh III.  He is mostly known as the Amarillo millionaire that does weird things around town including planting a row of Cadillacs nose down in a field just West of town.  Well an Amarillo mom just filed a lawsuit against him for soliciting sex from her teenage son using drugs, alcohol, cash and cars.

It is a hard thing to be a mother.  You want to protect your child and make sure they have the best life you can possibly give them.  So when I heard about this lawsuit, I got a sick feeling in my stomach.  If this is true, this is absolutely disgusting.

The lawsuit against Marsh states that in 2010 and 2011 the 74 year old performed sex acts on the teen, then 15 and 16, and engaged in various sexual acts with him in Chase Tower offices.

According to the lawsuit, the teen was introduced by a mutual friend.  The Amarillo Globe News reported on the lawsuit earlier stating:

“Marsh routinely paid (John Doe) in cash and checks, and provided Doe with alcohol and a litany of drugs. Marsh 3 bought two vehicles for Doe as well,” the suit said. “Over the year, Marsh 3 would give Doe sums of money that at times would be as much as $10,000.”

The suit went on to state that because of Marsh the teen became addicted to drugs and any young male visiting had to sign confidentiality agreements.

For many reasons including the teen's age, his name is not being given.  An attorney representing the family did say that the mother went to the police but nothing else was said about that matter.

This is not the first time that Marsh has had charges against him.  I find this to be extremely disturbing.  He always gets off by paying a fine, serving community service or having the charges dismissed all together.

The lawsuit also names several other people.  Marsh III's wife and guardian, Gwendolyn, his son Stanley Marsh IV, David Weir, a Marsh associate, a limited liability company and McCartt & Associates, which manages the Chase Tower.

They all allegedly knew what was happening and did nothing to stop it.  If this is true, something needs to be done!  He cannot keep hurting kids and getting away with it.
