February 4, 2013 Back in the day, before 1,000 channels on TV, internet in the palm of your hand, game systems in every shape and size, kids actually had to play. Some of the games that were created we actually fun games. Red Rover, Duck, Duck, Goose and Hide and Seek were a few of those games you could play with your friends in your neighborhood. However, it seems that some of those games can be dangerous.
February 1, 2013 I'm not a fan of the cell phone ban, it isn't because I text and drive. That is just crazy dangerous but I do missing being able to take phone calls while driving. That is the only time I can take private calls without people or my son hearing a conversation that doesn't need to be shared. I haven't been using my phone at all in my car since the ban went into effect. I'll admit, I miss it.

January 30, 2013 I'll be honest I didn't realize it was snowing last night until my mom called and asked if it was snowing here. I yelled at E. to put his PJs on because he had just gotten out of the shower and he did and came running into the living room. I told him to open the door and of course got the excited scream, "snow, it's snowing, oh my gosh snow".
