With the 2014 Super Bowl set to air on FOX at 6pm on February 2, we thought now would be the perfect time to run through what we know is going to debut during the big game and what surprises could still be in store.
The past few weeks have not been kind to actor Shia LaBeouf. First he was booted from the cast of a Broadway play. Then he was busted plagiarizing his apology to the other actors. Later, it was revealed his short film, 'Howard Cantour' was actually plagiarized from a comic by author Daniel Clowes. LaBeouf apologized and - you guessed it - that was plagiarized too. He hired a skywriter to fly a smug "I am Sorry Daniel Clowes" banner over Los Angeles (Clowes lives in San Francisco) and defiantly posted the cease and desist from Clowes' lawyers online.
Whatever seems to be happening in LaBeouf's personal life that has precipitated this breakdown appears to have finally reached it's head as the actor announced that he's ready to retire.
At some point today, 'The Hunger Games: Catching Fire' will officially pass 'Iron Man 3' at the box-office to become the biggest movie of 2013 with just over $409 million. Almost 20 years ago, 'The Usual Suspects' hit theaters and stunned audiences, turning Kevin Spacey into an Oscar-winning actor and Bryan Singer into an A-list director. But, what if he had to do it all over again?
Responding to a fan's question on Twitter, Singer revealed that if he had to cast a 'Usual Suspects' remake in 2013, this is who he'd want for the iconic roles.
'The Heat' was one of this summer's surprise hits making over $200 million worldwide. Almost immediately a writer was hired to write 'The Heat 2' and a sequel was in motion, but Fox forgot one important thing: asking Sandra Bullock if she had interest in returning. The Oscar-winning actress flatly told The Wrap at the 'Gravity' premiere in Los Angeles, "I’m not doing a sequel to 'The Heat.'"
