A pet is one of the biggest blessings in life. To have your furry best friend and family member. A pet is a big commitment, but they make life so much sweeter. If you have been considering a new pet, then please consider adoption. This weekend is the perfect weekend to find your new fur baby.

The Amarillo SPCA brought us Percy this week. Percy is a fun and feisty terrier mix. He still needs to visit the vet, but he is available for adoption. If you want Percy then go get him!

The Amarillo Animal Management & Welfare are making a few changes to their hours to make it more convenient for Amarillo residents.

If you are looking for a great volunteer opportunity this Summer that surrounds you with some amazing animals, then it's time to look into volunteering with the Amarillo Zoo.  The Amarillo Zoo is a fun place to spend time and learn about all the amazing animals.  If you have time to give and you love animals and want to learn more, then it's time to be a part of the Zoo Crew.

The Amarillo SPCA brought Benny by this week. Benny is a mutt, he is obviously part dachshund but we are not sure of the other. He's sweet and loving and just needs a home where he will be loved.

These cute little girls need a new home. They were already abandoned by their owner, they would like to go to a great home together.

When you think of pigeon, you think of those pesky little birds that sit on high lines or towers and cover your car in poop. That or if you're like me, when someone says pigeons, Goodfeathers from Animaniacs pops into my head. However, that's not the case, pigeons will be taking over Amarillo starting this Thursday.

This week the Amarillo SPCA stopped by with Henry. Henry is a happy chihuahua mix and would love a forever home.

Over the weekend a three month old puppy was found in a dumpster behind a local church.

Kirby is a girl who needs a great home. She's 1 1/2 and has the prettiest coloring. She needs you to adopt her today.
