March 26, 2012 Here is another reason why animals are awesome. Animals are amazing at detecting evil. Some just generally know when a person is even and it is not any different in this case. Mabeline saved a 17-year old girl from a sexual predator.
We were all sad to hear that Yoda, the world’s ugliest dog of 2011, recently passed away. But there are still plenty of homely canines among us, including 2007′s World’s Ugliest Dog, Elwood.
It doesn’t get a lot of press coverage and the banks are still open, but March 23 is National Puppy Day. For the seventh year, we will spend this day reflecting on what it is that we love so much about puppies. Perhaps this is a day we should have more than once a year.

Tornadoes wreaked havoc in the middle parts of the US on Friday, killing 39 people in five states. Storms of this force and magnitude can strike in an instant, and typically the only thing you can do if you find yourself in the deadly storm’s crosshairs is hope you are able to get to a storm cellar.
However, one woman in the West Liberty, Kentucky area decided to take on a tornado head on with prayer. Judging from the video, some people think her technique may have worked.

Sloths don’t just look adorable, they also have some pretty adorable habits. For example, the orphaned baby sloths in the Avarios Sloth Sanctuary in Costa Rica hug stuffed animals at all times as a way to mimic the interaction they would be having with their mother. Also, they wear tiny onesies. It’s enough cuteness to quite possibly cause the internet to collapse in on itself.
February 22, 2012 Amanda Seyfried was on Conan the other night and they talked about her taxidermy collection. She said that she has a horse, a owl named Beatrix, a chick named Linda and some butterflies so far. I knew celebrities have some quirks but really a taxidermy collection. Well in Conan fashion, he gave her one more thing to add to her collection.
