Treasure! Makes Its Way to the Discovery Center

One of the greatest treasures we have in Amarillo is the Don Harrington Discovery Center.  It is a great place for the kids to have fun and learn at the same time.  The last time my son and I went to the Discovery Center we spent 4 hours just hanging around playing, enjoying shows in the Space Theater, and activities.  It is a great learning experience.  Not only that, they have awesome exhibits they bring throughout the year. This summer  they are bringing Treasure! to the Discovery Center.

Forensic Sculptor Amanda Danning Coming to the Panhandle Plains Historical Museum

I love to watch all the forensic shows on TV.  From CSI to NCIS to Bones.  I love watching the character Angela on Bones reconstruct someone's face from just bones and bone pieces on her trusty awesomely advance computer.  Now I know most of that is created for TV however, I still find it interesting.  That's why  I'm excited to tell you that the Panhandle Plains Historical Museum has a really awesome guest coming next week,  Amanda Danning.
