It's the season for ghoulish fun.  It's a season for costumes and pumpkins and ghosts and goblins.  Now take all that and put it together with some zoo animals and you have the 6th annual Boo at the Zoo.

So I find myself with a problem.  A problem with chores.  As you know, I have an 8-year old boy named Ethan.  He's a good kid however we have a big problem in our home and that is chores.  It's like pulling teeth when it comes to get him to do his chores.  I have tried just about everything and nothing seems to work, so I need your advice and what works for your family.

We have a wonderful zoo in our great city and the Amarillo Zoo is always offering fun events for the community.  Coming up this weekend they are combining two very cool things, jazz and animals.  So make plans to bring the family to the zoo on Saturday.

Frames of love is a wonderful organization.  They take the time to provide a great service to families of terminally ill infants and children and those parents who have suffered the loss of a child.  They do this through photography.

We are finally to the time of year where the food, fun and rides come to Amarillo.  The Amarillo Tri-State Fair kicks off on Friday, September 18th.  So get ready to fill your belly with delicious fried fare including funnel cakes, cheese on a stick, fried twinkies, and what ever else they decide to deep fry.  Plus you can't miss out on the caramel apples.  Don't miss out on the rides and the game

Amarillo's Netplex is the newest sports facility in Amarillo. They are located in the old South YMCA.   Want to learn more about the Netplex or have some fun.  Then you need to mark your calendars for Saturday, September 5th.

The 4th of July holiday is this Saturday and you can find all sorts of festivities going on around the area.  It's a day to enjoy celebrating our independence while enjoying time with our family and friends.  So with everything that is going what are your plans for the holiday.

The 4th of July is a fun holiday.  It's a day to get together with family and friends to celebrate our country's independence.  It's also the perfect day for fireworks.  Last year Canyon went bigger and better with their 4th of July celebration and this year they are continuing the tradition.  This year mark your calenders and join us at Kimbrough Memorial Station for fireworks and the Gin Blossom

Every year Mix 94.1 does the Children's Miracle Network Radiothon.  This year not only are we having the radiothon.  We are celebrating CMN in a big way with the Miracle Up Festival.
