What is one of the most popular comfort foods?  Macaroni and Cheese!  Who doesn't love those cheesy noodles.  They just make you feel so warm inside.  Now I've heard of chili cookoffs, BBQ cookoffs, even fajita cookoffs, and now we get to experience a mac and cheese cookoff.

What goes with cold weather?  Chili! You can get plenty of chili this Saturday at the Tri-State Open Chili Championship.  Plus, if you think you have the best chili around you can compete for a chance to to qualify for Terlingua International Chili Championship

Toys for Tots is a programs that has been around for decades.  It is a program sponsored by the US Marines.  They need your help in making sure that children who would otherwise go without presents on Christmas, have presents underneath their tree.

The ACE Scholarship program gives hope to those kids who never dreamed of going to collage because of finances.   Plus, ACE it helps to provide an educated and trained skilled workforce for our area.     On Thursday, ACE has a huge goal to meet.  They are hoping to raise $2M for their scholarship program.

We love being a part of an organization that helps save the lives of children. The Children’s Miracle Network is something we have a passion for. Each year we hold the CMN Radiothon and we receive tons of support from all of our amazing listeners.   However, did you know that there are other amazing ways to help the Children's Miracle Network?  One of those ways is by gaming.

Each year the Balloon Glow ascends onto the grounds of the Discovery Center and this year is no different.  Make plans to bring the family out to enjoy the sights of all the amazing hot air balloons.
