Celebrate Earth Day the Creative Way at The West Edge Earth Day Celebration

I just ran across some information for a fun event coming up tomorrow and I just wanted to share it with you!  How about a creative day to celebrate Earth Day?  It is called the  West Edge Earth Day Celebration.  The festivities will take place on Van Buren between 7th and 8th Street from 10am -6pm.  Keep reading for all the fun activities.

Here is something I found absolutely intriguing and I so want to do this but I'll be working on Saturday.

It is called the UpCycle Art Workshop and what you do is bring in your scraps, broken, busted and unused bits of wood, metal, machinery and strangeness, and they will have a team of creatives will help you turn it into a unique work of art for your home.

So in other words you bring your junk and they help you turn it into something amazing for your home.

The workshop is from 4-6pm and cost is $35 for the workshop.

I think that is a great deal because it would cost more for someone to come and haul it off and you get a piece of artwork for your home.
