Travelers going through the BDFM Rockefeller subway station in NYC on Wednesday (June 13) were in for an unexpected treat. Jimmy Fallon and Christina Aguilera went incognito and pretended to be buskers—him wearing a wig, fake beard, hat and sunglasses and her in an oversized coat, floppy hat and glasses. With the band already set up, Fallon sauntered to the mic and began to play the banjo. Aguilera was unrecognizable as she timidly walked up to her microphone, but as soon as she started belting out the lyrics to George Michael's "Freedom," her identity was clear (ain't nobody got pipes like that!).

People began to gather as the song continued, and after the performance was over Fallon revealed their identities and played the pop star's hit, "Fighter."

The performance will be a skit on an episode of Tonight Show that is set to air tonight (June 14). Watch the sneaky performance below.

Aguilera is set to release her seventh studio album (first in six years) Liberation tomorrow (June 15) and has already revealed the singles "Like I Do,"  "Accelerate" and the Demi Lovato-assisted "Fall In Line." She also recently announced a 22-city North American tour in support of the record.
