Dennis Rodman Visits North Korea, Is Now Besties With Kim Jong Un [VIDEO]

Former basketball player and ‘All Star Celebrity Apprentice’ participant Dennis Rodman made history as the first American to publicly meet North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un last week.

You’re gonna probably want to let that sink in for a few seconds. It’s okay. We’ll wait.

The eccentric Rodman returned home with nothing but nice things to say about the dictator, whom he referred to as a “great guy” after traveling to the communist country with the Harlem Globetrotters to film the HBO documentary ‘Vice.’

“I love him. I love him. The guy’s awesome,” the former pro-baller frighteningly gushed to reporters.

Rodman also has a message for President Obama from Un, telling ABC’s George Stephanopoulos, “He wants Obama to do one thing: Call him. He said, ‘If you can, Dennis, I don’t want [to] do war. I don’t want to do war.’ He said that to me.”

“He loves basketball. And I said the same thing, I said, ‘Obama loves basketball.’ Let’s start there,” Rodman said of his plans to play matchmaker following the most ill-conceived bromance ever.

When Stephanopoulos asked Rodman how he felt about Un’s various crimes against humanity (including prison camps) and his threats against the United States, Rodman admitted his new BFF “loves control” and “power,” but added, “He’s not his dad. Not his grandpa. He’s 28 years old … I don’t condone what he does, but … he’s my friend.”

And if you wanna jump right down the rabbit hole? You need only see this claim from Col. Steve Ganyard, former Deputy Assistant Secretary of State: “There is nobody at the CIA who can tell you more personally about Kim Jong Un than Dennis Rodman, and that in itself is scary.”
