Be still, our hearts! Ed Sheeran has just revealed that he has recorded some new music with Taylor Swift.

Considering the musician besties are a match made in singer-songwriter heaven (musically speaking, of course), we immediately needed to learn all of the details about their new collaboration. Here's what he spilled:

"I've recorded some more songs with Taylor Swift, but it's just a case of finding out where to put them as I don't really put collaborations on my albums," he recently told fans (quote via CapitalFM). "She did her last record, '1989,' really quickly, in about a month, I think, so there was no time to put any on there."

While '1989' won't have a Sheeran collab a la 'Red's' 'Everything Has Changed,' we're hopeful that the tunes will wind up on an album in the future, or even just as duets the two sing in concert. At least once. For us. Please?

The redheaded Brit also divulged that he has tried to set up Swift with some of his pals.

"I have tried to set Taylor up with a few of my friends," he said. "I have a lot of good looking friends.”

Considering the 'Shake It Off' singer has been pretty open about her decision not to date at this point in her life, we're thinking that Sheeran definitely has his work cut out for him on that front.

One last interesting piece of information Ed Sheeran revealed? He's a big fan of Britney Spears -- and even prepares meals while listening to her songs.

"I mean she's had consistent hits for a while, but I wouldn't write 'Work Bitch,'" Sheeran explained. "I'd go and do something a bit more like 'Everytime.' I'm a Britney fan! I've actually got the 'Greatest Hits' -- I cook to it."

Cooking to Britney Spears? We'll take it.
