Girls in Real Life – Girl Power Seminar for Moms and Daughters

A awesome event called Girl Power is coming to Amarillo on Saturday, November 17th.  This event is targeted at moms and their pre-teen daughters ( 4th-6th grade) to help them improve self-esteem, activity, nutrition, internet safety and communication.

Girl Power is being brought to you by the Texas Tech University Health Science Center Laura W. Bush Institute for Women's Health.

The event will be held at the Amarillo Civic Center.

Registration begins at 9am.  The Seminar is 10am-2pm and lunch will be provided.

Special Guests include

Miss Texas' Outstanding Teen Margana Wood

Keynote Speaker: Dr. Jennifer Arnold, a world renowned neonatologist, and has been featured with her husband on the TLC drama The Little Couple.

Door Prizes will be given away, gift bags, exhibit booths, entertainment breakouts, refreshments and photos.
