According to the new Federal Budget our friends to the North and South of us will have to pay a fee of $5.50 each time the enter the U.S.

According to FoxNewsInsider.com

The new federal budget proposes to charge $5.50 for entry to the U.S. from Canada and Mexico, which would net the government up to $110 million to be used for security. The Department of Homeland Security is behind the proposal, but critics say the new fee will make travel and trade between our neighbors more difficult and costly.

Apparently this new fee has Canadians  in an uproar.

Do you think this is a good idea?   Would you want to pay a fee to enter another country?  Will this hurt tourism?  Do you think this fee will cause more people to sneak into the U.S.
