Lady Gaga loves helping others. That's why the Mother Monster and her Born This Way Foundation have teamed up with both the United Nations and UNICEF to launch a global youth empowerment program. In addition to roaming the world to perform her songs, Gaga will also make sure to visit and assist those in need, ranging from orphanages to impoverished communities, during her travels.

She has already begun that mission, as she shared photos of her recent visits with children in other parts of the world as part of this initiative. She played games with them, spent quality time with them and hugged them.

There is an adorbs photo where the children are clinging to Gaga, with her long, pink, flowing hair and her crisp (and always fashion-forward) white dress. She looks angelic and happy as she spends time with the youngsters.

We all know that Gaga is a busy woman and one of the most in-demand pop stars working today. So the fact that she carved time into her itinerary to be with these kids shows how important the cause is to her heart.

She posted the following update on her Little Monsters site:

I have teamed up with the United Nations and UNICEF to begin a worldwide Youth Empowerment Initiative. On behalf of my fans and The Born This Way Foundation i will be traveling the world to visit and assist families, orphanages, and communities in need. During each visit I seek to empower the youth to be brave in their struggles, and find strength in their ability to persevere. Here on littlemonsters.com you can follow our initiative and find out ways you can get involved.
