The song became instantly famous again in 1992 when it was featured in a scene in the movie Wayne's World
Gangsta's Paradise - Coolio
Movie: Dangerous MindsCoolio released Gangsta's Paradise in November 1995 on the album of the same name.
The song was also featured in the movie Dangerous Minds and featured on the soundtrack.
Don't You (Forget About Me) - Simple Minds
Movie: The Breakfast ClubSimple Minds recorded the song in 1985.
After it appeared in The Breakfast Club in shot to #1 on the charts.
The song re-emerged in the movie Pitch Perfect in 2012.
In Your Eye's - Peter Gabriel
Movie: Say AnythingThis song was released on Peter Gabriel's album So in 1986.
In 1989 it became the theme song for the movie, Say Anything.
