I love this time of year because we are coming up on one of my favorite things. It is the Children's Miracle Network Celebration. This event is full of miracles and blessings. Its the time of year I get to meet people who end up staying a part of my life for years to come. Plus it is a chance for you to make a difference.

For the last year and a half you have read my blogs on Audree Gomez. Audree is a little girl from our area who was in desperate need of a brand new heart. Audree went in for medical attention on October 27, 2011. Audree had not been home since, not until yesterday.

Children's Miracle Network is a local organization who helps out sick kids in the Texas Panhandle. Each year Mix 94.1 turns over our radio station to raise funds for CMN. Some of those funds go to help the kids have fun during their stay at the hospital. One local patient turned a stay in a hospital to a possibility of having her artwork showcased on a White Cloud tissue box.

I am a BIG weenie when it comes to needles. I am an adult and am supposed to be able to handle a needle stick. Thousands of children come into BSA on a yearly basis and they all get stuck at least once and sometimes when the nurse cannot find a vein they get stuck multiple times. Well we have the opportunity to provide a machine that can make it easy to hit a vein in one stick.
