It's an event that happens each year.  A battle of the schools in our area.  The battle to get the most blood donations.   Kids Inc Donor Days ended on Tuesday, February 28th and Coffee Memorial Blood Center announced the winners.

Kids Inc donor days ended on February 28th, but they have a, let's call it a bonus round, during Spring Break.  Blood donation drops during the week of Spring Break because of the vacation.  Don't let the vacation affect blood donations, you can help increase blood donation that week and win $1,000 for your school.

As we were leaving the blood center today, we were told that they just found out that they are in immediate need of O- blood.

Do you have O- blood?  If you do, did you know that you can save a life today.  The Coffee Memorial Blood Center needs you.

Giving the gift of life is one of the most profound things you can do for another person.  You might not think one pint of blood can make a difference, but it can.  Think about a person receiving blood, they could be someone who was in a car wreck or a 5-year old battling cancer and needing blood transfusions because of chemo.
