Yesterday (April 9), Tennessee native Justin Timberlake visited the White House for a special celebration of Memphis soul music, and his performance of Otis Redding’s ‘(Sittin’ On) the Dock of the Bay’ had the Obamas smiling and singing along.
The evening also featured such artists as Mavis Staples, Ben Harper, Charlie Musselwhite and Sam Moore.
To further advance his plans for world domination, Justin Timberlake appeared on the British talk show 'The Jonathan Ross Show.' And when talk turned to 901, JT's new brand of tequila (yeah, he has one of those now, named after the area code in his hometown of Memphis), Ross opened the bottle and they downed two shots.
Then he challenged the singer to three rounds of mini-golf. And the drinking didn't stop there.
While most would agree that this past weekend's 'SNL' host Kevin Hart did an admirable job picking up where 'Django Unchained' star Christoph Waltz left off, this weekend 'SNL' really pulls out the big guns tapping five-time guest Justin Timberlake as both host and musical guest. Expectations are sure to run high for the hour, so how does an old pro like JT fair in the promos for this weekend? Get a sneak peek of Justin Timberlake without his "Suit & Tie" inside!
Continuing the Timberlake saturation, it's been announced that he will host and perform on 'Saturday Night Live' on March 9, and will perform for a full week (March 11-15) on 'Late Night With Jimmy Fallon.'
He's got a Top Five hit on the Billboard Pop charts, another one on the way, and a new album right around the corner, so if you feel like Justin Timberlake is everywhere these days, we can understand why. But Sunday night (Feb. 10) after his Grammy performance, there was only one place to see him: At the Palladium in L.A., in front of 4,000 screaming fans.
When Justin Timberlake put a Willow filter all up on his Grammyperformance, we knew his membership of Instagram was inevitable. And he won't stop until he's turned his whole world into a sepia-filled adventure!
After an adorable introduction by Ellen and Beyonce, Justin Timberlake took the 2013 Grammy stage to prove that he can do no wrong. None. This guy has so much talent equity that he’s not afraid to do something completely different.
Well, completely different in this century, anyway -- JT’s old school swagger brought some big band class to an awards show full of the same old stuff.
Justin Timberlake apparently goes to the optometrist in his fanciest tux, because eye care is no laughing matter. Or possibly because his new album is titled 'The 20/20 Experience' and the album cover is a tongue-in-cheek reference to vision. We're still unclear. (See what we did there?)
20 songs in 20 days? That's a whole lot of music! So is that where Justin Timberlake got the title of his album 'The 20/20 Experience'? Actually no! Timberlake joked with Ryan Seacrest, "I wish I was that smart." JT was playing some of his new tunes for his best friend who remarked, "This is music you can see," and just like that, 'The 20/20 Experience' was born.
