Taylor Swift Tells ELLE She Never Ever Chases Boys

Taylor Swift swears up and down to ELLE that she doesn’t chase boys. She just buys houses next to them after like, two weeks of dating.
âIâm sure if I looked up the latest Google Alerts rumor it would say Iâm chasing somebody who doesn’t like me as much as I like him — people love that angle on me,â she said.
Guilty as charged, bunny boiler.
âTheyâre like âOh Taylor, coming on too strong again, chasing boys,â” she added. She insisted, “I never chase boys. They donât like it!â
They also don’t like having songs written about them. Especially songs with their names in them. But it’s like, totally okay that she does that because OMG her feelings were hurt.
âTo me itâs just writing songs the way I always have. Itâs me sitting on my bed feeling pain I didn’t understand, writing a song and understanding it better,â she lamented.
âIf people want to dissect the lyrics, thatâs their right, but itâs all coming from the exact same place as where I started. Itâs just something I do to feel better.â
Does dropping hints in her CD booklets make her feel better too? Or is that just to provide more scalpels for people to dissect them? We’d feel sorry for her if she didn’t actively court the attention that she claims to hate.
Another chestnut?
âI donât think I’ve ever yelled at an ex-boyfriend. Ever,â she said. âIâm not a yeller. Iâm not a fit thrower. If something is done, itâs done.â
Of course not. She’s too passive-aggressive for that. She just mocks their accents on TV and gets smug about how famous she is.
Have a seat, Pollyanna. We’re all onto you.
