The Amarillo Zoo Needs Volunteers for their Boo Crew
Each year the Amarillo Zoo has their Boo at the Zoo. Since October and Halloween are just around the corner, they need some volunteers to help.
BOO Crew volunteer jobs include costumed characters, handing out candy, supervising games and crafts, serving as area monitors and other fun positions!
Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age. Volunteers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
To become a part of the BOO Crew you must fill out an application and attend an orientation meeting.
Each volunteer must be available to work from 4:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 11a.m. – 5:30p.m. on Sunday.
The pre-event orientation is on Saturday, October 20 at 9:00am.
BOO at the Zoo is scheduled for
Friday, October 26 from 5:30pm – 9:00pm
Saturday, October 27 from 5:30pm – 9:00pm
Sunday, October 28th from noon to 5:00pm.
