The New Footloose Trailer [VIDEO]

The first trailer for the new Footloose remake came out recently. All I have to say is, uh...no. I'm not sure how to feel about it because I LOVE the original.  I loved all the actors, Kevin Bacon, Lori Singer , John Lithgow, Diane Wiest, Chris Penn, and Sarah Jessica Parker.  I want this movie to be good, but I don't know if it will or not.  Maybe it will be to this generation what the original was to us, but I'll let you be your own judge.

I understand that this is a remake of the original, but it seems like they are making a carbon copy of the original, but with new actors set in today's times. I'm not sure how I feel about this? To give it a fair shot I'll have to watch it to see, but after seeing this trailer I don't know if I want to see the remake.

Look for the new Footloose in theaters October 14th.
