1960 - ALFRED HITCHCOCK’S “PSYCHO” was released starring ANTHONY PERKINS and JANET LEIGH.

1971 - “THE FIGHT OF THE CENTURY” went down between undefeated MUHAMMAD ALI and undefeated SMOKIN’ JOE FRAZIER. In the 15th round, Frazier knocked Ali down, and won by decision to retain his title.

1973 – PAUL MCCARTNEY pleaded guilty to charges of growing MARIJUANA outside his Scottish countryside farm, and was fined $240. Paul claimed a fan gave him the seeds and HE DIDN’T KNOW WHAT THEY WOULD GROW.

1993 – “BEAVIS & BUTTHEAD” premiered on MTV as a series! It lasted until 1997 but now, MTV has announced it will be back THIS SUMMER. Beavis and Butt-Head will still be the same age they were when the show debuted.

1999 - JOE DIMAGGIO died of lung cancer at the age of 84.
