Why Do I Hear Some Of The Same Christmas Songs On Mix

I would like to personally thank you for listening to Mix 94.1 and I hope that you are enjoying the 'Holiday Hits.'

I've been checking some of the comments and messages on our Facebook page and wanted to answer one of the questions that has come up. Hopefully, this will help you kinda understand why we do what we do.

I agree with the comment that there are 'thousands of Christmas' songs as a DJ and music lover myself, part of my job is to make sure that the songs that we do play on Mix 94.1 are the biggest, best and most popular versions. One of my favorite Christmas groups is Straight No Chaser. If I could I'd play their entire new Christmas Album, 'Under The Influence.' Sadly, there is only two songs off the album that are generating popularity, so those are the two songs that you hear us playing.

I would love to play all the Christmas songs that are out there, but I have to decide what is best for the entire listening audience.
