2013 Do Something Awards Red Carpet: See Kelly Osbourne, Carmen Electra + More [Photos]
The 2013 Do Something Awards took place in Hollywood yesterday (July 31), and they are more important than a typical, pat-itself-on-the-back Tinseltown function like the Oscars or Emmys. These awards honor young people who make a difference and put thought into action to enact social change. The red carpet saw Kelly Osbourne in a lacy LBD, Carmen Electra turning heads in a satiny cobalt gown with a massive train and actress Sophia Bush choosing a strange seafoam and white dress.
Check out the StarCrush rundown of who wore what and how they looked.
Kelly Osbourne:
The 'Fashion Police' host donned a fitted LBD with three-quarter length lace sleeves and carried a cute orange bag.
Carmen Electra:
The former MTV personality was a Grecian goddess in her satiny, shimmery, cobalt blue gown with a slit and a dangerously low-dipping back. She was bringing sexy "back," literally, in this gown designed by Ines Di Santo.
Sophia Bush:
Bush's mint green and white dress was confounding. The cut wasn't flattering or femme and the scalloping on the dress looked like it was mimicking mermaid scales. That detailing clashed with the ruching. The verdict? Too much going on.
Cynthia Nixon:
The former 'Sex and the City' star, who played no-nonsense lawyer Miranda Hobbes, was adorable and summery in a LBD with cap sleeves and a slightly past-the-knee length, which was age-appropriate.
Roselyn Sanchez:
The actress' golden dress would be cute if the length wasn't so wrong. It's too long and hits above the ankle. Why? If she had it hemmed to hit above the knee, she'd be in business, since the top is so sparkly and sexy. The bottom half doesn't "mesh" and it's dowdy. WTF was she thinking?
Sara Bareilles:
The 'Love Song' singer was colorful in a print top and emerald short shorts. The color and sheen elevated the overall look and made it dressy.
