Amarillo Police Searching for Man in Connection with Shooting
The Amarillo Police Department are still searching for a man wanted in connection with a shooting that occurred in Amarillo on Sunday morning.
The APD are still searching for Weslen Patterson. Patterson is wanted in connection with a shooting that occurred on October 28th. According to a release from the Amarillo Police Department officers were called to a residence in the 3400 block of Teckla. A female and a male were in the residence when Patterson opened a window and shot the male. Patterson then entered the residence and started choking the female. The male then left the house and Patterson followed him shooting him again in the upper body. Patterson fled the scene.
Detectives with the APD Domestic Violence Unit acquired warrants through Randall Country for Patterson including, Burglary of a Habitation and Aggravated Assault of a Deadly Weapon.
