See Ariel, The Little Mermaid, Make Her Splashing Debut in New ‘Once Upon a Time’ Promo

It's a whole new world for fans of 'The Little Mermaid' with a live-action Ariel making her debut on the Nov. 3 episode of 'Once Upon a Time.'

This new promo for the episode, aptly titled 'Ariel,' features JoAnna Garcia ('Royal Pains,' 'Privileged') as everyone's favorite mermaid who dreams of walking on two feet and marrying her handsome prince. Will she sing a little song with her sea creature buddies as well? Fingers crossed!

It should come as no surprise to fans of the show that 'OUAT' is adding its own twists to the classic Little Mermaid tale, casting Regina (Lana Parilla) as Ursula, Ariel's evil, eight-legged nemesis, and making her besties with the show's pixie-cut sporting Snow White (Ginnifer Goodwin).

The show will hook Ariel up with her one true love, played by Gil McKinney, but something tells us they probably won't get their happily ever after when this episode ends. 'OUAT' is well-known for turning up the drama and tragedy when it comes to classic fairytale romances.
