Go Behind the Scenes of ‘Bond 25’ With the First Footage From Set
Okay so maybe shooting in Jamaica on the 25th James Bond movie didn’t go as smoothly as people would have liked. Daniel Craig got an on-set boo-boo so bad he needed surgery to fix it, but on the plus side — the footage they got looks great!
Above you’ll see a brand-new behind-the-scenes video from the Bond 25 shoot in Jamaica. (Very strategic not to include the footage of Craig getting the ouchie.) The thing is shot so well even the stuff of, like, director Cary Fukunaga looking at a monitor looks cool enough to be in a Bond movie. Here’s how the official YouTube page describes this video:
Check out a behind the scenes look at our recent Caribbean Bond 25 filming that shows director Cary Fukunaga at work and Daniel Craig (James Bond 007), Jeffrey Wright (Felix Leiter) and Lashana Lynch (Nomi) on set!
The 25th Bond film will continue 007’s story following the events of Spectre, with a screenplay by Fukunaga, Scott Burns, and Phoebe Waller-Bridge. The cinematography is by Linus Sandgren, who shot La La Land and First Man for Damien Chazelle, so that explains why that set looks so darn cool. Despite Craig’s injury, Bond 25 is still expected to open in theaters (hopefully with a title?) in April 2020.
