BTS weren't in attendance at the 2019 American Music Awards on Sunday (November 24) night... However, that didn't stop them from sweeping the competition!

The history-making group took home all three of the awards they were nominated for, including Tour of the Year, Favorite Social Artist and Favorite Duo/Group for Pop and Rock music.

BTS' fans, ARMYs, were working extremely hard to sweep the awards for their favorite group, and they accomplished their goal. The show is entirely fan-voted, where fans cast their votes via social media and online forms.

The group recently lost out at the 2019 People's Choice Awards, and they were unfortunately not nominated at the 2019 Grammy Awards. This win was from the fans and for the fans — and BTS.

Aside from winning everything that they were nominated for, the seven became the first Korean group to win in the Favorite Duo/Group category. They were also the most awarded male group at this year's awards show.

At the 2018 AMAs, the group won the Favorite Social Artist award, marking their second consecutive year winning the award.
