Beloved Amarillo Restaurant Is Finally Reopened After Long Wait

At the end of last month, some of us were disappointed to see that one of our favorite spots in Amarillo was going to be closed. Hearts were broken as cravings for honey butter croissants would remain unsatisfied. Fortunately, for those who were missing it, that restaurant has opened its doors once again. Welcome back, Cheddar's.

Cheddar's Is Open Again In Amarillo, Texas

Depending on which part of the internet you hang out on, you would have thought the world was ending from some of the posts questioning why Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen in Amarillo was closed. There were a lot of people upset with the fact that their go-to restaurant wasn't open when they expected it to be.

The reason why Cheddar's was closed was remodeling. They were having work done on their kitchen. Who's going to get mad about a facelift? Also, they supposedly had some work done on the roof.

When Did Cheddar's In Amarillo Re-Open?

When they closed up shop for the remodeling of the kitchen, a note was posted that said they would only be closed for a couple of weeks. They closed the doors in late August, and they were set to only be closed until September 2.

The good news is that they are officially reopened. If you're missing their cool ceiling fans or honey butter croissants, you can get your fix once again. It's nice to see a restaurant closing story in Amarillo wind up with a happy ending and one that only took a couple of weeks to arrive at. Welcome back Cheddar's and your awesome ceiling fans.
