Actor Chuy Bravo passed away in Mexico City over the weekend, he was 63.

Chuy was reportedly visiting family and friends in Mexico City when he was hospitalized on Saturday, TMZ reported. His family members allegedly shared that he had terrible stomach pain and went to the emergency room where he was subsequently hospitalized. On Sunday (December 15 the family was told that he passed away on Saturday (December 14). His cause of death is still unknown.

The actor/comedian recently celebrated his 63rd birthday on December 7, where his former boss, Chelsea Handler, wished him the best day in a comedic social media post.

"Happy Birthday to my OG Nugget @chuybravo," Handler wrote. "I love this picture because--not only does it look like Chuy just launched out of my peekachu, I look like a member of ZZ Top. Happy birthday Chuy, and thank you for 8 years of heavy petting."

Aside from Chelsea Lately, Bravo also appeared in the 2005 film The Honeymooners, Austin Powers 3: Goldmember and Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End in 2007. He starred on Handler's late-night talk show on E! from 2007 through 2014.
