An Exciting New Park Is Coming To Eastridge In Amarillo, Texas

Amarillo, Texas, is a city filled with parks. It seems like everywhere you go in town, a park is never that far away. One neighborhood in Amarillo is about to get a new park, and the City is in the planning stages.

Eastridge In Amarillo, Texas, Is Getting A New Park

In case you haven't heard, Eastridge is about to get a new neighborhood park. It's a big part of the Eastridge Neighborhood Plan. In fact, a new park is listed as one of the top priorities.

Amarillo Parks and Recreation and the Planning Department are working on the design of this new park in Eastridge. One of the things they're working on right now is getting the community involved.

There is a survey that is open until May 5 that you can fill out. There will also be an event held on April 24 to get community feedback. There will be food and games at the event as well.

New Park Is Great News For Eastridge Neighborhood

It's good to see news like this in Amarillo. Parks do a lot for the neighborhoods they're located in. They give you a place to meet up with family and friends, children a place to play on a warm sunny day, and give us outdoor lovers a place to walk and get sunshine when we're too busy to get out of town.
