This just might make you feel a little bit old, but we think it's kind of cool.  Ferris Bueller's Day Off is returning to the big screen for two days only. It was 30 years ago today that Ferris decided he didn't want to go to school and took his best friend Cameron and his girlfriend Sloane on the adventure of a life time.  We are celebrating the 30thy Anniversary of this great movie with your chance to see it up on the big screen.

"Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it."

Don't you just love that line!!!  I know I do and I love this movie.  I remember spending the night with a friend and her older sisters were like, you have to see this movie.  So we spent an hour calling all the video stores in town trying to see if they had a copy.  Finally one did and we begged them to set it aside for us and we'd be there in 5 minutes.  We all hopped in the car with her older sister and went and got it and that was the first day I got to experience Ferris Bueller's Day Off.  It was amazing.  Now I never got to see it on the big screen so this is going to be a great opportunity.

We want to give you that opportunity as well.  We will be giving away passes all week long.  You'll have your chance to win right here on the website, as well as on-air during Mornings on Mix, at our live remotes this weekend,  plus on Facebook.

So take the day off with Ferris and Crew!  Join us as we team up with Fathom Events, Turner Classic Movies and Paramount pictures as we give you a chance to see Ferris Bueller's Day off on the big screen at Cinemark Hollywood 16 or the UA Amarillo.  Not only that you'll get to learn more about John Hughe's cult classic with specially produced commentary from TCM host Ben Makiewicz.
