Thursday afternoon (July 2nd), Texas Governor Greg Abbott issued a controversial executive order, which mandates the wearing of face coverings in public and many commercial areas in most of the state. The rationale for the order is to reduce the spread of COVID-19 in Texas.

In the immediate aftermath of the order being issued, we received calls and e-mails to the KFYO newsroom asking how to reach the governor's office. Well, here's how you can do it.

There are multiple ways to contact the Governor's Office:

(Office hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. CST)
