It's been a while since most of us have been to a movie theater. For me, it's been almost an entire year since the last time I went and saw a movie on the big screen.

They're calling it a Private Cinema Event. For $99, you get a private theater and the movie of your choice from their current line up.

When you break that down, if you fill up the guest list it comes out to be $5 per person. That's not a bad deal considering the average ticket price for going to the movies.

The only catch, really, is that you only get to choose from their current line up of films. So if you're thinking about taking Cinergy up on this deal, be sure to see what's showing before you sign up.

Also, keep in mind that new movies aren't really being released to theaters yet. So if you have a new film in mind you want to use this deal on, you may have to wait a while.

Still, the price isn't that bad at five dollars a piece, if you get the guest list filled up. It would leave a few bucks open to spend on snacks.
