Coffee Memorial Teams Up With Amarillo Sod Poodles For Blood

Teamwork makes the dream work. That's the saying I use with my young baseball teams to help them understand how to win. Well, the Amarillo Sod Poodles know all about teamwork, as do the people over at Coffee Memorial Blood Center, and they've decided it's time to team up.

It's been no secret that the blood supply in Amarillo, TX. has been super low. Coffee Memorial has been running all sorts of different blood drives with different incentives to get some donations rolling in, and this one may be their best yet.

This Friday, June 9, they'll be holding a HUGE blood drive over at HODGETOWN in partnership with the Soddies that they're hoping to be one of their biggest ones of the year.

From 1-7 pm, donors are asked to head over to HODGETOWN and go upstairs to the Fairly Group Club. Inside, you'll find many different donor stations setup. You won't walk away empty handed, and honestly this might be the best package of giveaways donors have ever walked away with.

You'll get the obligatory t-shirt, this one with a Fourth of July vibe to it, a WOW pass to hit up Wonderland, a folding chair from Academy, and a free ticket to a Sod Poodles game.

Now, if that wasn't enough for you, you'll automatically be entered to win a Father's Day package valued at $250, so you could potentially take care of that shopping for dad that you've been putting off.
