Bruce Jenner's public revelation that he is transgender was an emotional one — for himself, for his family, and especially for his most recent ex-wife, Kris Jenner.

The Kardashian-Jenner family matriarch has kept mostly mum on Bruce's transition, save for several choice words for Perez Hilton. But in this preview clip of an upcoming Keeping Up With the Kardashians episode, she openly struggles with her feelings.

"He has to deal with this for his entire life of waking up and feeling like, 'Whoa! This isn't my body. This doesn't feel comfortable,'" Kim Kardashian explains to her mom in the video clip, which you can watch above. "That's the only way I can kind of imagine it. And you really have to let go."

Understandably, this is a very tough pill to swallow for Kris, who was married to Bruce for over two decades  and shares two daughters (that would be Kendall and Kylie) with him.

"I have these memories of this life," Kris says, crying. "And I feel sometimes like it didn't exist."

Difficult as it must be for Kris as she comes to terms with Bruce's transition — and what it means for her own life and their marriage — she bravely put aside any negative feelings and supported her ex during his coming out interview with Diane Sawyer:

The KUWTK clip, which aired exclusively on TODAY Monday morning (May 4), is part of a two-part special of the E! show that is set to air on May 17 and 18.
