
Crime Stoppers Seek Tips On Memorial Park Vandalism In Amarillo, Texas
Earlier this week, we found out that the brand-new fishing dock at John Ward Memorial Park (Medi Park) in Amarillo, Texas had been vandalized with some poorly spelled graffiti less than 24 hours after it had been installed. Today, Amarillo Crime Stoppers are looking for info on more vandalism at another park in town.
Gazebo At Memorial Park In Amarillo, Texas Hit By Vandals
Amarillo Crime Stoppers shared photos and information regarding the recent vandalism at the gazebo in Memorial Park, along with a plea for information from the public. The sad part is that the gazebo is now covered in spray paint. At least the dock was kept to a single bench.

Between March 8 and March 10, almost $2,000 worth of damage was done to the gazebo at Memorial Park. The walls, pillars, and even the floor were covered in graffiti. Paint scribbles litter the whole gazebo.

It's a shame to see the gazebo and the fishing dock both hit by vandals this week. Both of them are nice additions to the parks they are in and add something nice for the community. Once again we're reminded why we can't have nice things.
