And another one bites the dust.

Just days after Katie Couric announced she is leaving 'CBS Evening News,' the Hollywood Reporter brings word that Couric's 'Today' show replacement, Meredith Vieira, is leaving the top-rated morning news program in June.

Though unconfirmed, NBC is expected to make the announcement official as early as next week.

Taking Vieira's place will be long-time 'Today' show newsreader Ann Curry. Curry's spot will be filled by Natalie Morales.

Vieira has reportedly been wanting to leave the show for some time. She is said to be tired of the morning news schedule, and wants to spend more time with her husband, who has battled cancer and multiple sclerosis.

Vieira joined 'Today' in 2006.
