In a recent interview with Rolling Stone Magazine, The Beach Boys have announced they are teaming up for a reunion tour that will cover 50 shows starting in April at the New Orleans Jazz Fest.

Originally the Beach Boys were to announce the Reunion tour at the Grammy Nominations in November, but due to some problems they had to back out. According to Al Jardine, the group will appear at the Grammys on February 12. "There will be a surprise at the Grammys. We'll do something really exciting. There's a lot of interest in it, which is nice. It's going to be a very big operation."

There have been many variations and line-ups of the Beach Boys since in their career and, in more recent years, lots of mudslinging and lawsuits, but Mike Love says that all that [negativity] is behind them.

So, let's dust off our beach ball, slip into our Bermuda short, hop in our T-Bird and have some fun, fun, fun.

The reunion tour line-up will consist of original/founding members, Brain Wilson, Mike Love, Al Jardine, Bruce Johnston and David Marks. (Carl Wilson died of cancer in 1998).
