Things to Do in Amarillo for Valentine's Day

So as you probably know Valentine's Day is this Sunday. However, there are some fun events going on in Amarillo all weekend long. So grab your Sweetheart and celebrate this weekend of love.

Take your love on an historical adventure down Amarillo's own historical Route 66 this Saturday. Take a ride on the Trolley Express from 11a-4pm. Enjoy Valentine's specials in all the great stores and restaurants on Route 66. You just mind find that perfect gift for your sweetheart.

Palo Duro Canyon State Park

Are you and your sweetheart adventurous. If so, then why not take a hike in beautiful Palo Duro Canyon. Temperatures are expected to be in the lower 60's on Saturday. Explore the Upper Commanche trail this Saturday from 1-2p. The park interpreter will be in the Chinaberry Day Use Area and then finish at the Rock Garden Trail. Once you're done you'll be taken back to the starting point of the hike. Make sure you bring plenty of water, and dress for the hike. Plus your pet is welcome on a leash.
