‘To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before’ Sequel Is Most Likely Happening

A sequel to Netflix's hit film To All the Boys I've Loved Before is clearly a no-brainer, but now it's (somewhat) officially in the works.

Audiences of all ages obviously love the streaming teen rom-com starring Lana Condor and new heartthrob Noah Centineo. Plus, the movie is based on author Jenny Han's hit 2014 book of the same title and is first in a trilogy, so the framework for multiple sequels already exists.

Neither Netflix, the movie's cast and crew, nor Awesomeness, who produced it before selling to Netflix, have announced a sequel, but a new Hollywood Reporter story published today (November 27) basically confirms it's in the works. We hope. We pray.

The THR story is about Netflix and Apple "upending the Hollywood hierarchy" by making direct deals with film studios. They use a new Netflix deal with Paramount, parent company of Awesomeness owner Viacom, as an example. "One of the first movies being discussed for the Paramount-Netflix deal will be a sequel to To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before," the article reads.

While it's unfathomable they'd make a sequel without the two stars, we also need Lara Jean's hilarious little sister Covey, played by Anna Cathcart, to return in a major way. Who else do you want to see back for a sequel, and how do you think it will differ from the books?
