It's Wet Nose Wednesday where we introduce you to a loving furry friend at the Amarillo SPCA that needs a home. This week, meet Axel! (Click play on the video above!) Thanks to our weekly sponsor Darndawg Custom T-Shirts.

We don't know much about Axel because he was found by Debra at the SPCA on the side of the road. In fact, we don't even know if his real name is Axel! He was found along a busy part of Soncy and she was able to get him into her vehicle and out of danger. Once back at the Amarillo SPCA, they tried posting his photo on Facebook but no one ever came to claim him. He has rottweiler markings and is mixed with another breed. He is very friendly and very playful. He is around 1 year old and will still need to be neutered before he can go to his forever home. He would do very well with a home that has a large backyard and seems to get along great with other dogs. How can you say no to that face!

If you would like to adopt Axel, or any of the other wonderful animals looking for their fur-ever home, give the Amarillo SPCA a call at (806) 622-0555. Don't forget you must call ahead and make a visitation appointment as the SPCA is not open to walk-in traffic due to Covid-19 restrictions.
