What is interesting is going back through the series of events on the WT University Police Department's Facebook page and reading the comments. There are those who are incredibly appreciative of the University Police Department. Others, while the series of events were transpiring, were more concerned and critical.
The University Police Department did mention that they do take all threats, and rumors of threats, seriously. Maybe, just so everyone from faculty to students are on the same page, this event will lead to discussions and the formation of even better procedures and policies in the future; in case something like this were to happen again.
