So this happened in August and I don't remember hearing about it, I could have been under a rock but apparently, Red Bull lost a lawsuit and they are going to have to pay a chunk of money to a lot of people.

According to Law360.com:

Red Bull GmbH agreed...to pay over $13 million to settle a proposed class action in New York federal court accusing the Austria-based beverage company and its U.S. subsidiaries of falsely advertising its energy drinks as providing more benefit to a consumer than a cup of coffee.

So if you have purchased a can of Red Bull in the last 10 years you could possible get a piece of this $13M.

When it comes to energy drinks, honestly, I take it for what it is, a energy drink.  I don't drink it because I think it has more benefit than a cup of coffee.  But, if you are drinking it because you don't like coffee and you think you are getting more benefits then I can see why you would get a tiny bit upset.

On that same note, I think we live in a world where if we can sue for money and win, we will
