Movin’ to the Country Gonna Eat Me A Lot of Peaches

Today's video flashback comes from the Presidents of the United States of America.  I remembered this awesome song the other day when I was buying peaches in the grocery store, and it popped into my head.

Peaches was the third single release off the POTUS debut album. Lead singer Chris Ballew wrote this song about a girl he had a crush on.  Apparently, he wrote this song after sitting under a peach tree waiting for her to come home so he could profess his love.

You will find other ideas about what this song is about, but for me, it ruins the whole song for me so I am not even going to attempt to tell you the others.

So enjoy a peach or two today.
